Our offices were established and organized to ensure the direct representation of our clients.  Consequently we have been working for over 25 years in close contact with the R & D departments of medium and large size companies.  We are often involved in finding and defining new projects well in advance of the actual "patenting" procedures.

We assist our clients in defining new projects and diversi- fication.  Before drafting a priority patent application, we search in our own CD-ROM databases and documentation as well as in all available external databases.

Our Patent Attorneys must be University graduates and all are required to have practical experience in R & D prior to training as Patent Attorneys.  Great emphasis is made in focussing on practical potential development when a patent application is prepared.  The patent claims have to be targeted not only at current products and methods but also at prospective future developments.  Such development must aim at the whole life span of the future patent, which is 20 years after the application is filed.

We file patent applications worldwide, using regional and national patent systems.  We have associates in more than 100 countries, most of whom we have been co-operating with for more than 20 years.
