Trademarks are not only signs or devices used in business, they also represent and characterize goods and services and distinguish them from those made or carried by other companies and competitors.  The indication of origin requires a high standard of product quality from its owner and needs strategies adapted individually to the relevant market.

The use of trademarks in Domain Names may lead to legal problems, for example "Domain Grabbing".  Similarly, the unreserved commercial use of national trademarks in Internet-Marketing may also infringe foreign trademarks.

We support and assist clients before and during arbitration disputes involving trademarks and Domain Names, like "Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy" (UDRP) used at the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) in Geneva, Switzerland.
